Paul Harris, in a Subaru, has a 17-second lead over the Ford Focus of local hero, Frank Meagher, after two stages of the Tipperary Stone-Throwers Rally. Eamon Bolland, in a Subaru World Rally Car, is a further 29 seconds adrift in third place.
At Mondello, John O'Hara won the fifth round of the Formula Europa Championship beating Vivian Daly into second place. The win for O'Hara extends his Championship lead over Daly to 15 points.
