The opening car race meeting of the 2001 Ulster season scheduled for Kirkistown circuit on Saturday 31 March has been postponed due to the current foot and mouth crisis. The 500 Motor Racing Club of Ireland will seek a new date later in the season. Other activities such as track days have been suspended until further notice.
