RALLY OF THE LAKES
Stephen Finlay has returned to his winning ways after a four-year lay-off to win this year's Rally of the Lakes. Stephen Murphy's third place further strengthens his lead in the Southern Four Championship. In the modified category, Eugene Donnelly/Paul Nagle (Escort 2.4) won by 11 seconds from Philip Shaw, with the Mullane brothers 1:44 seconds behind. The Historic section was won by Dessie Nut/G McBride in a Porsche 911 and the Post Historic winners were John Keatley and Maurice Beckett.
