Austin McHale has retired from the Rally of the Lakes. He arrived out of the third stage running late, and retired due to engine problems. Other retirements include Kieran Murphy and Pat Healy in the Historics.
Frank Meagher has reported that his car is not handling well, and James Cullen reported that his Subaru is cutting out and he is having to drive 'flat out' to keep pace. Both Stephen Finlay and Eamonn Boland are unhappy with their engine setup.
