Formula 1: Coulthard to halt Schumacher's supremacy at Si

David Coulthard intends halting Ferrari's Michael Schumacher's championship run by roaring to success in a second successive British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday. While the 29 year old Scot reckons that last years win was one of the luckiest of his career so far (6), he thinks victory would mean much more to him this time around.

Coulthard won a re-started race last year after Schumacher had crashed into the tyre barrier, the flying Fin, Mika Hakkinen has been forced out and Eddie Irvine's pit-stop had been botched. 'Victory this time would mean much more to me than the first one,' admitted Coulthard, who trails the German by 26 points in the Drivers Championship after just three days. However the McLaren driver that they need all the points if they are to catch the Ferrari team.

Meanwhile Schumacher has just increased his earnings with two more endorsment deals which make him the richest sportsman in the world.
