BAR have pulled out of further involvement in pre-British grand prix testing following yesterday's accident to Ricardo Zonta at Silverstone.
The incident at Stowe corner, the same where Michael Schumacher broke his leg last year, occurred as a result of a front suspension failure, and the team has not had sufficient time to rectify the problem, bringing testing to a premature halt.
‘It's disappointing that we are unable to continue with the test,’ admitted Zonta, ‘ We were doing some good work, but obviously we have to listen to what the engineers say. I would certainly prefer not to have another ride like the one I had yesterday.
