Ferrari's Michael Schumacher insists that the British racing track of Silverstone will hold no fears for him when he defends his huge Championship lead at the British Grand Prix on April 23rd. It will be his first revisit to the track since breaking his leg at the same event last year.
'I won't feel strange or anything about going back there,' said the German who will be testing at the track next week, however he did say that he will be watching the same area where he spun off to see if it has been revamped and made safer.
This Grand Prix could also be crucial to the fortunes of the slightly out-of-favour Johnny Herbert. It is believed that his position could be under threat from the Jaguar test driver, Luciano Burti. Although he finished a creditable tenth in Imola on Sunday, he has been woefully outclassed by his team-mate Eddie Irvine so far this year.
