David Coulthard is refusing to write off his Championship chances despite losing his battle over being booted out of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The 29-year-old Scot fell 20 points behind Ferrari's Michael Schumacher after McLaren yesterday lost their appeal against his disqualification from second place in the race in Sao Paulo.
However, with fifteen races still left Coulthard believes his title dream is still alive and plans on launching his fightback in the heart of Ferrari territory in Sunday's San Marino Grand Prix at Imola. "They have not won the Championship yet and we are not going to give it to them," vowed a defiant Coulthard.
"We are going to fight hard all the way. We can turn things around and that is what we are going to do. We have a quick racing car, we are going to a circuit which I like and where I have gone well in the past and we want to take the challenge to Ferrari and show them we still believe we have the best car," Coulthard added.
