The draw for the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies' National Football League semi-finals took place in Croke Park today.

Ladies' Football Chief Executive Helen O'Rourke and Ger Cunningham of Bord Gáis Energy carried out draws for the semi finals of all three divisions which will take place on the 18 and 19 April.

Reigning Champions Cork will face a Dublin side who already beat them in the regular league season.

Dublin are unbeaten this year while Cork have lost to both Dublin and Monaghan. In the other side of the draw, Laois will face 2007 League champions Mayo.

In Division 2, the semi-finals see Tipperary face Waterford, while Sligo take on Down and in Division 3 Limerick play Wicklow and Derry will meet Roscommon.

‘This draw has created a number of fascinating ties in the wake of another exciting weekend of quarter final action,” said Ladies Football Chief Executive Helen O'Rourke.

‘The momentum has been building through the group stages and is coming to a head now.

‘There has been some really fantastic football played over the past couple of months and some outstanding and competitive displays that really stand to the strength of the National League.’

‘I’m delighted to be here today to represent Bord Gáis Energy and play a part in the semi final draws,' said Ger Cunningham of Bord Gáis Energy.

‘The Ladies' National Football League is a terrific competition and Bord Gáis Energy is very proud to be playing a strong supporting role in the sport. I wish all those taking part in the semi finals the very best of luck.’

The venues and dates of the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies' NFL semi-finals will be announced later in the week.

All three of the Bord Gáis Energy NFL finals will be played at the same venue on the weekend of 9/10 May, and will be televised live on TG4.

Division 1:
Cork v Dublin
Laois v Mayo

Division 2:
Tipperary v Waterford
Sligo v Down

Division 3:
Limerick v Wicklow
Derry v Roscommon
