Cork had too much for Clare in their Munster Under-20 hurling clash at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, running out 4-19 to 2-21 victors.

The sides will now do battle again in a week's time in the provincial semi-finals.

The top three in the five-team group had already been decided, but it's Tipperary who go straight to the decider after topping the table on scoring difference.

The Rebels' defeat of Clare earns them home advantage for their semi next Wednesday.

Barry Walsh shone for Cork, chipping in with 1-05, with Finn O'Brien, Johnny Murphy and Barry O'Flynn also hitting the net.

Tipperary hammered Limerick 4-20 to 2-08 at TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Cormac Fitzpatrick led the way for the Premier with 1-09, while David Costigan (2-03) and Jamie Ormond (1-03) also weighed in with big tallies to ensure their team kept their noses ahead of Cork and Clare.
