Laois took a huge step towards Division 2 promotion following a dramatic 1-18 to 1-17 win over rivals Kerry in Portlaoise.
The free-taking of Ronan Walsh gave the Kingdom an early platform and the led by three points, 0-07 to 0-04, after 24 minutes.
The gap was down to one at the break with Aaron Dunphy, Ryan Mullaney and Aidan Corby all on target for the hosts.
Laois took the lead for the first time in the 42nd minute through a Dunphy free, although Oisin Maunsell and Walsh got the visitors back in front.
A big moment of the game came in the 51st minute when Kerry's Michael Leane was dismissed and Laois took advantage to lead by three moving into the final 10 minutes.
Walsh landed two frees to bring it back to one, but a penalty from Padraig Delaney, along with a black card for Kyle O’Connor, seemed to spell the end for them.
Kerry fought back though and a Walsh free and a Maunsell goal levelled things up as the clock ticked into red, but Cormac Byrne had the final say as Laois made it three wins from three.
In Division 3, Donegal made it three wins from three – all against Ulster opposition – after a 1-18 to 1-09 win over Armagh.
Donegal’s Conor O’Grady and Armagh’s Dylan McKenna exchanged early goals, with the home side leading 1-10 to 1-02 at the break.
Liam McKinney and Richie Ryan kept the scoreboard ticking over as Michael McCann’s side eased to the win.
Tyrone had to dig in to beat a much-improved Fermanagh 2-18 to 1-17.
Fermanagh led 0-10 to 0-07 at the break, but Turlough Mullin found the net for Tyrone on the restart.
The Erne County responded with a goal of their own to retake the lead, but Mullin hit a second 14 minutes from time to send Tyrone on their way.
Roscommon left Darver with a 0-14 to 0-11 win over hosts Louth.
Louth led 0-06 to 0-05 at the break, Conor Murphy with a fine point to round off their first-half scoring, but Roscommon grabbed the first four points of the second half, Sean Canning with two of those.
Conor Morris pushed the margin out to four with 20 minutes later and although Louth got the gap down to a point with two minutes remaining, scores from Paddy Fallon and Canning secured the win for the Rossies.
In Division 4, Cavan were 2-20 to 2-15 winners over Lancashire, Mark Moffett with both goals for the Breffni County with Billy Donnellan and Padraic Burke finding the net for the English side in the final quarter.
Sligo’s winning start continued with an incredible one-side 2-34 to 0-03 win over Warwickshire in Tubbercurry.
A 15-minute delay didn’t slow Sligo down with Andrew Kilcullen and Robert O’Kelly Lynch scoring freely and Conor Hannify tagging on a goal in the 52nd minute before Thomas Cawley added a second late on.
Leitrim left Inniskeen with a 1-20 to 1-10 win over Monaghan, Colm Canning with their goal after Brendan McQuaid had struck early for Monaghan.
