Dublin progress in Walsh Cup against Wexford

Dublin had too much for Wexford

Dublin defeated Wexford 2-17 to 1-11 in the Dioralyte Walsh Cup quarter-final clash held in Oulart on Thursday evening.

Ollie Gaffney and Tucker Kinsella exchanged goals in the first half with the Dubs leading by five at the break.

Joe Flanagan found the net early in the second half as the visitors pulled away late on.

Dublin will play Westmeath in the semi-finals.

Laois progressed to the Walsh Shield last four thanks to a 3-14 to 2-12 success against Carlow in Stradbally.

Colin Byrne and James Keyes (2) were the goalscorers for the O'Moore County. Paddy Boland and Kevin McDonald netted for the home outfit.
