Tom Mullally has stepped down as manager of the Carlow senior hurling team.

Mullally had five very progressive seasons in charge of the county team.

During his tenure, he oversaw a Joe McDonagh Cup triumph over Offaly in Croke Park in 2023.

This subsequently saw Carlow play in the 2024 Leinster championship.

Mullally also guided Carlow to promotion to Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League and they retained that status in 2025 with some excellent performances.

He is currently in charge of the Naas senior hurlers who are preparing for an upcoming Leinster semi-final against Wexford champions St Martin's.

Mullally has already guided Naas to Leinster and All-Ireland intermediate titles in 2021/22.
