The continued generate scores and by half-time every member of their forward line contributed to a healthy 0-17 to 0-06 lead.

The Faithful County were given a shot in the arm in the form of an Oisin Kelly goal at the City End in the 51st minute, and the rush immediately faded as Curran got one of his own at the other end just 90 seconds later.
That made it 1-24 to 10-9 and another green flag went the way of the Faithful County when Kelly fired in from the tightest of angles with 55 minutes on the clock.
Offaly finished strong by outscoring their Munster rivals 0-10 to 0-02 during the final 10 minutes of play, but it always felt like Waterford were in control.
