Donegal bounced back from their narrow loss in Trim last week to dispatch neighbours Tyrone in their Division 2 clash in Letterkenny.
The hosts led by the minimum at the break, Sean Ward hitting 0-04 as they led 0-10 to 0-09 at the break.
Ben Gormley's sending off dented Tyrone's chances and Conor Gartland's 60th minute goal put Donegal firmly in command.
The away side had a lifeline late on but Luke White saved Michael Little's penalty. Two more players were sent off, Donegal's Brian McIntyre and Tyrone's Cormac Munroe, but it was immaterial as the home side eased to a 10-point win, their first of the campaign.
In Division 3, Roscommon were far too strong for Armagh in King and Moffatt Dr Hyde Park.
Kevin Sammon's side suffered a setback in Round 1 after defeat in London but they were always dominant against an Armagh side in their first league outing.
They led 0-14 to 0-06 at the break after putting the foot down in the second quarter, Cathal Kenny and James Hardiman influential.
When Fran Killion found the net in his first league start shortly after the re-start, the game was done and dusted. Cian Murray's sending off 13 minutes time made no odds as the Rossies cruised to a 15-point victory.
In Division 4, Fermanagh recovered from a heavy opening defeat to Louth to dig out a 1-14 to 0-14 over Longford in Kinawley, Caolán Duffy firing the decisive goal midway through the first half.
Meanwhile, in the battle of the shires in Birmingham, neither side could be separated. Warwickshire and Lancashire got off the mark in the 2025 league after a 1-18 to 3-12 draw in Páirc na hÉireann.
