Clare pipped Cork by the narrowest of margins after 100 minutes of incredible hurling action, here we rate the performances of both sides.
Clare
Eibhear Quilligan - 7
Early distribution wasn't finding Clare players including one out over the left sideline, picked out David Fitzgerald in space for a lovely score in the 22nd minute, made massive save from Robbie O'Flynn strike in extra time.
Adam Hogan - 7
Was roasted by Patrick Horgan in 25th minute but the Cork player saw his effort hit the post and go wide. He was booked for pulling Alan Connolly's jersey off the ball in 28th minute but he managed to get the balance right thereafter.
Did well to keep Connolly out from scoring a goal in 54th minute (alongside Leen), did brilliantly to steal ball off Connolly in 62nd minute as Cork looked like they might be in for score.
Conor Cleary - 6
He was booked in the 23rd minute for a jersey pull on Hayes. Replaced by Darragh Lohan at the end of normal time.
Conor Leen - 7
He was dragged out of place by Patrick Horgan for opening Cork goal (doing his job), did brilliantly to put same player under pressure and won sideline cut deep in own half (44 mins).
Was alert to prevent Connolly from scoring a goal in 54th minute (alongside Hogan).
Diarmuid Ryan - 8
Scored a belter in the fifth minute to cut gap to one and followed it up with another 30 seconds later to even up the game. Gifted Cork possession as he tried to take a ball down over his head which allowed the Rebels to move four clear.
Exceptional take over his head in 30th minute and eventually fouled to give Clare chance to build attack which led to a point for Rodgers. Pushed one wide in 42nd minute after good play by Conlon to set up attack but made up for it with another point in the 64th minute.
John Conlon - 7
Ran into trouble in his own left corner and was swallowed up three Cork attackers resulting in a free which was scored. Won dirty ball in 42nd minute to set up Clare attack but forwards failed to capitalise.
David McInerney - 6
A brilliant catch from a Cork puck out, drove out from half-back line, but pushed a shot for goal left and wide in the third minute. He was booked for off the ball stuff with Connolly in 50th minute.
David Fitzgerald - 7
Pushed an effort wide from his own half in the eighth minute but got on the scoresheet in the 22nd minute from just inside his own half.
Had another wide from out near the left sideline in 33rd minute. Put in important hook on Niall O'Leary in 35th minute as Cork went in search of equaliser, drew Clare level with fine score from midfield in 38th minute, pushed effort wide from close range in 41st minute with HawkEye ruling it out
He had a chance for a goal in 46th but was crowded out and still went for it blasting it high and left for a wide. Put Clare back ahead in acres of space in 59th minute, saw massive goal chance blocked by Joyce in seventh minute of extra time.
Cathal Malone - 6
Hand passed a ball over the sideline in the 14th minute trying to pick out team-mate, which led to a Cork score, had to go off in 37th minute for blood sub, sent a poor ball forward in 49th minute giving Cork a chance to build attack, replaced by Seadna Morey late in extra-time.
Tony Kelly - 9
Pushed an effort wide in the seventh minute from out right but this was a rare blip on an inspirational afternoon for the Ballyea man as he finished as the top scorer from play with 1-04.
Scored an amazing goal in the 51st minute beating at least three defenders before flicking home. Looked to have won it with a ballsy score deep into added time in normal time.
Then scored two equalising points in the first half of extra time to prevent Cork moving away. Was booked in the second half of extra time for off the ball stuff but then added a sensational solo point to move Clare ahead once more in the 88th minute of the game.
Mark Rodgers - 8
He opened Clare's account with a point from out left after just over four minutes, and added a second point just after the half-hour mark.
There was more to come as he buried Clare's second goal, running at the Cork cover and getting past Mark Coleman before burying the ball to the net.
Pushed an effort wide in the 53rd minute before being replaced by Robin Mounsey at the end of normal time.
Mark Rodgers powers past the Cork defence after seizing on the broken ball from the puckout.

Peter Duggan - 7
A quieter game by Duggan's usual high standards but he still chipped in with a couple of scores, including a splendid point from a sideline cut in the second half.
Aidan McCarthy - 8
Landed a much-needed free for Clare after the Cork goal before scoring a major of his own finished Clare's opening goal burying it from close range after being set up by O'Donnell.
Had a couple more scores in the first half before adding three more points in added time, upon his reintroduction, including their last equaliser.
Shane O'Donnell - 8
He was sensational in the first half, setting up Clare's opening goal after some brilliant, tenacious play. Falling, he got his hand pass off to McCarthy
Chipped in with a couple of points and won plenty of dirty ball before the break. Set up Duggan for an early score in the second half. He was barely able to walk by the end, reflecting the massive effort he put in.
David Reidy - 7
Scored points either side of half-time, including one in the 32nd minute which put the Banner ahead for the first time. Lasted just shy of an hour before being replaced by Ian Galvin.
Substitutes
Ryan Taylor - 7
Replaced Aidan McCarthy on 55 minutes. Did well to keep Ethan Twomey down and win sideline cut in 56th minute, pushed Clare three clear in 60th minute with a fine point.
Ian Galvin - 6
Scored the opening point of extra time to put Clare one up.
Aron Shanagher - 5
Gave away soft free with a foolish pull of jersey which led to Patrick Horgan's late equalising free at the end of normal time. Pushed an attempt wide late on in extra-time and he was also booked.
Daragh Lohan - 6
Got stuck in around the middle whenthe game was in the melting pot.
Robin Mounsey - N/A
Withdrawn for the returning Aidan McCarthy at start of extra-time.
Cian Galvin - 6
Trusted to hold his own in half-back line with extra-time in the melting pot.
Shane Meehan - 6
Provided legs in extra-time when Shane O'Donnell had nothing left to give.
Seadna Morey - 6
Got on the ball despite his late, late introduction.
Cork
Patrick Collins - 7
Had a mixed day on the distribution front but made a great save to prevent a Tony Kelly goal in the first half of extra-time.
Niall O'Leary - 6
Powerful run as game ticked into added time in first half before eventually being blocked down by David Fitzgerald
Eoin Downey - 7
Did very well to deal with a ball off the post in the 19th minute with Peter Duggan lurking, showing brilliant reflexes. Managed a critical block on Diarmuid Ryan to prevent possible goal in 29th minute, got forward for a big point in 57th minute to cut gap to one.
Seán O'Donoghue - 6
The skipper was defensively sold, particularly in the first half.
Ciarán Joyce - 7
He beat Rodgers to possession in the 6th minute and smashed the ball up field to set up Brian Hayes for a score.
At the other end he put his body on line to block O'Mahony's goal-bound effort in extra time, but he pushed forward shortly afterwards to score a point in an impossibly tight space; that score had Cork in front.
Robert Downey - 7
Showed all his speed, stamina and skill in scoring Cork's goal. He claimed puck out and drove at the Clare cover and burst in from the left before burying the ball in the net.
He displayed brilliant physicality to shake off Clare tackles and clear the ball in 24th minute. He wasn't punished in the second half after butchering a clearance just before the hour mark, launching the ball straight to a Clare player.
Robert Downey brings a moment of magic to hurling's biggest occasion

Mark Coleman - 7
Might have done more for second Clare goal but other than that it was an effective performance from the Blarney man.
He scored an early point to push Cork seven clear at that stage, while also chipping in with a late point in normal time and a cracking equalising score in the first half of extra-time.
Tim O’Mahony - 7
Opening the scoring in the 2024 All-Ireland final and would go on to contribute another couple of scores in normal time. He also put in a fine hook on David Fitzgerald, who was in a position to score, in the early stages.
Darragh Fitzgibbon - 7
A strong showing for Fitzgibbon who managed the last score of the first half and added another score just after the hour mark. He also saw a couple of efforts end up on the wrong side of the posts, including an attempt at an equaliser in added time at the end of the second half of normal time.
Declan Dalton - 6
Saw a couple of efforts miss the target through the afternoon and was eventually replaced by Ethan Twomey with over 20 minutes to play.
Shane Barrett - 6
Started the game very brightly with a couple of scores in the opening quarter of an hour but his influence gradually faded and he was replaced by Shane Kingston in the last five minutes of normal time.
Séamus Harnedy - 7
He was in fine form with a couple of early scores. HawkEye would rule out his third point in the 21st minute but he righted that wrong in the second half.
He elected to go for goal himself with men over in the 48th minute, an unpopular call amongst his fellow Cork forwards, but would have another point with just over 10 minutes of normal time to play before being replaced by Robbie O'Flynn.
Patrick Horgan - 8
Horgan's quest for a Celtic Cross goes on but what more could he have done as he kept the scoreboard ticking over through the afternoon, hitting 12 points, including the last two of the contest.
He saw a first-half shot at goal hit the post and go wide but he would score two equalisers in added time in normal time.
Alan Connolly - 6
A quiet afternoon for the Blackrock man although his point immediately after the second Clare goal was important to halt the Banner momentum. He was replaced by Jack O'Connor inside the last 10 minutes of normal time.
Brian Hayes - 6
He managed a point in either half including arguably the score of the contest as he opened the second half scoring after a taking a high ball down on his hurl and splitting the posts from a narrow angle out left.
Substitutes
Ethan Twomey - 6
He might have felt aggrieved when Ryan Taylor kept him down on the turf and won sideline cut in 56th minute. He pushed a chance for lead score wide in the second half of extra time.
Jack O'Connor - 6
He had a massive chance for an equaliser in the last minute of normal time but amazingly pushed it wide of the left post after doing brilliantly to create the space.
Shane Kingston - 6
He hit a couple of scores after replacing Shane Barrett with five minutes to go in normal time. His score put Cork ahead for the first time in 40 minutes of action in extra-time.
Robbie O'Flynn - 6
He was so unlucky to see his effort at the death, the last act of the game, drift agonisingly wide of the right post at the Hill 16 goal.
Before that, he had Cork ahead with a point midway through extra time although he also elected to go for goal with a point on offer, drawing a top drawer save out of Eibhear Quilligan.
Tommy O'Connell - 6
He won the free that saw Cork force extra time in normal game
Ger Millerick - 6
