John Kiely is confident Cian Lynch will be back to full fitness before Limerick's next Munster SHC round-robin clash against Tipperary on Sunday 21 May.
Lynch suffered "a minor hamstring injury" during Saturday's pulsating loss to Clare at the Gaelic Grounds.
The manager is confident one of his star men will be back in the next two weeks, but he is less clear on the extent of the knee issue Seán Finn sustained against the Banner County.
"Cian has a minor hamstring injury, he should be flying again in the next week or two," Kiely told RTÉ Sport at the launch of the Dillon Quirke Foundation fundraising drive.
"Seán has a scan this afternoon so hopefully tomorrow [Wednesday] we'll have a clearer picture on that."
Reflecting on the three-week break the Treaty now have before returning to provincial action, Kiely said: "It's probably the reward for having a six-day turnaround for the last game; you're bound to get the time back at some stage.
"We'll make good use of the time. We'll freshen up, and we'll come back at it again. We have two really tough fixtures coming up for the final stages of the Munster Championship round-robin and we'll be fighting for every point we can."
The Dillon Quirke Foundation fundraising drive was launched in his home club of Clonoulty-Rossmore on Tuesday.
Quirke tragically passed away from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome [SADS] when captaining Clonoulty-Rossmore at FBD Semple Stadium last August.
Last month Kiely called on the GAA to waive its decision to ban teams from promoting charities on their jerseys for the Dillon Quirke Foundation.
It is the goal of the Quirke family that every GAA player over the age of 12 is cardiac screened.
"I'm delighted to be a part of the foundation, to be able to support it in any way I can," added Kiely.
"The work the foundation is embarking on, in terms of trying to screen young people under the age of 16 for any deficiencies in their hearts, it's a fantastic initiative.
"It's one that's badly wanted. Every year we hear of tragedies all over the country. If this foundation can prevent other communities and other families from having to go through that trauma and loss, isn't that a fantastic thing to do?
"I think [the jersey promotion] probably won't happen now. But that's one particular initiative - there'll be any more intiatives.
"The foundation is in it for the long haul, it's not just for this next couple of weeks or months. There'll be other intiiatives there and I'm sure the association will row in behind those initiatives and will make a valuable contributuon to the foundation in the course of time."
