Christy Ring Cup

Mayo await their first win in the Christy Ring Cup as Tyrone left Hastings McHale Park with eight points to spare over their hosts.

Sean Duffin's goal, a flick to a long-range Liam Dunphy free, was the main score of the opening half, helping the Red Hands to a two-point interval advantage.

The visitors began to take control, with Loran Devlin’s low finish pushing the lead out to six. A goal late on for Mayo put somewhat of a better look on the scoreboard, but Tyrone earn their first win on a scoreline of 2-22 to 1-17.

Nickey Rackard Cup

In the second round of the Nickey Rackard, there were wins for Donegal, Roscommon and Wicklow.

It was Donegal who enjoyed the better of the first half at the Box-It Athletic Grounds, where a flick from a long delivery flew into the Armagh net off an Orchard stick, the visitors leading by five points at the interval.

A Tomás Galvin goal in the 42nd minute reduced the gap to half a dozen points, but the visitors were always in control.

The hosts hit six of the last seven points, but it was academic at that stage with Donegal grabbing two goals in injury-time - from Gerard Gilmore and Conor Gartland - to run out 3-20 to 1-16 winners. They now sit top of the table alongside Wicklow.

First-half goals from Conor Mulry, Adam Donnelly and Naos Connaughton laid the foundation for Roscommon's win away to Louth.

Leading 3-06 to 0-06 at the interval in Darver, the Rossies struck for a fourth just three minutes after the resumption, Paddy Fallon getting in on the scoring act.

Three minutes after the resumption and Paddy Fallon added to the Rossies' goal haul. The Wee County popped over 11 points in the second period, but it was never going to make a serious impression given Roscommon’s clinical edge, Muly adding his second goal of the game as the visitors won out on a 5-08 to 0-17 scoreline.

Wicklow withstood a second-half Fermanagh fightback to maintain their 100% record.

Andy O'Brien’s goal ensured the visitors led by six at the break, but the Erne County found the back of the net through Luca McCusker, and aided by the dismissal of Wicklow’s Luke Evans, whittled the gap down to two points, but crucially, could never get closer to the Garden County, losing out 1-12 to 1-14

Lory Meagher Cup

Lancashire made it two wins out of two in the Lory Meagher with a nine-point victory over Leitrim at Shane McGettigan Park in Drumshambo.

Level at the break, 1-08 apiece, Lancashire's potency in front of goals proved to be the difference, raising the green flag on three further occasions in a 4-15 to 1-15 win, while in the other game, Cavan enjoyed an away win over Monaghan.
