Two goals from Jack Sheridan were key as Kildare sealed their spot in the Christy Ring Cup semi-final with a seven point win over Wicklow in Newbridge.
The hosts led by four points at half-time but Eoin McCormack plundered a goal for the visitors which tightened the contest in the third quarter.
However, Kildare stood firm in the final quarter, Sheridan - who scored 2-04 in total - nailing his second goal on 57 minutes to open up a seven-point gap.
The remainder of the game was drama-free as Kildare maintained that margin to advance to the last-four.

Hurling fifth tier competition contains only three entrants this year with Lancashire opting out due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fermanagh defeated Louth by a single point in Darver Centre of Excellence last week and a draw today would deliver them a final spot.
A goal with nine minutes remaining appeared to have sealed it for Cavan but three late points from the hosts saw them get the required result and see them into the final.
