Jack Guiney has been dropped from the Wexford hurling panel ahead of their Leinster Hurling Championship semi-final against Kilkenny on Sunday.
Following an alleged disciplinary breach, Wexford boss Liam Dunne dropped the Rathnure man for the clash in Nolan Park.
Guiney, who was replaced during the second half of the victory over Westmeath, travelled to a christening on Sunday, with the full knowledge of the Wexford management.
The 22-year-old then took part in training last Tuesday evening in Ballygarrett; however, the attacker was subsequently removed by management from the Thursday session and now the panel.
Wexford have no injury problems and Dunne will announce his side on Friday evening, while Kilkenny are also expected to stick with tradition and announce their team on Friday evening also.
