Kilkenny's Jonjo Farrell has successfully appealed the red card he received in his side's defeat to Dublin.
Farrell was facing a one-game suspension after being sent off for what was deemed a wild pull but the Central Hearings Committee has reviewed the video evidence and decided the offence was not proven.
That means Farrell is free to play in Sunday's Allianz Hurling League trip to Galway.
However his team-mate Joe Lyng, who was also sent off against Dublin, will miss the game after choosing not to appeal.
Speaking after the Dublin game RTÉ analyst Eddie Brennan said that although Lyng's red card was justified he felt Farrell's case was "clearly not a sending-off".
The CHC statement said: "Seán Seosamh Ó Fearail was ordered off for striking with his hurley with minimal force. A Hearing was requested as he chose not to accept the proposed penalty.
"On the basis of the video evidence provided, the Hearings Committee found that the Infraction was not proven and directed that the Disciplinary Action be at an end."
