Carlow see off NUIG with ease in Walsh Cup

Carlow 2-19  NUIG 0-11

Carlow are through to the semi-finals of the Walsh Cup after a 2-19 to 0-11 play-off win over NUIG at Fenagh.

Craig Wall’s goal helped the Leinster side into a 1-10 to 0-05 lead at the break.

And their dominance continued in the second half with Seamus Murphy also raising a green flag.

Pat English’s men will now face the winners of group four, Offaly or Galway, on Sunday week.
