Brian O'Halloran notched 1-04 as Waterford got their Waterford Crystal Cup campaign off to a winning start when they beat LIT 1-22 to 0-18 at Carriganore.
Pauric Mahony chipped in with 0-10. In all ten players got on the scoresheet for Derek McGrath's side, who now will face Limerick in the quarter-final.
There were also games in the Walsh Cup today, with Antrim, Laois and Offaly all victorious, while Carlow and NUI Galway finished level.
