Tipperary have edged out Kilkenny with seven players on the GAA GPA Hurling All Star team for 2014, while Richie Hogan has been named Hurler of the Year.
Darren Gleeson, Brendan Maher, Padraic Maher, Shane McGrath, John O’Dwyer, Patrick Maher and Seamus Callanan have all made the selection.
Kilkenny occupy six positions through Paul Murphy, JJ Delaney, Cillian Buckley, Richie Hogan, TJ Reid and Colin Fennelly.
Limerick’s Seamus Hickey and Shane Dowling complete the side.
Tipp's Cathal Barrett is the Young Hurler of the Year.
