Brian Cody will continue for another season as manager of the Kilkenny hurlers.
Cody was ratified at a Kilkenny county board meeting tonight to continue for a 16th season in charge.
Michael Dempsey, James Mc Garry and Derek Lyng will form his backroom team, with Martin Fogarty stepping down.
Cody has led the Cats to nine All-Ireland titles and six National League titles during his reign, although this season was a disappointment for Kilkenny fans. They lost the Leinster semi-final to Dublin before exiting the Championship at the hands of Cork in the quarter-finals.
Brian Cody has signed on for another year with Kilkenny. He will be joined by Ml Dempsey, James McGarry & Derek Lyng http://t.co/jSrb0H4nvq
