Dublin have reappointed Anthony Daly as their senior hurling manager for the 2014 season.
There was strong support within the county for Daly continuing in his role despite the disappointment of Dublin’s defeat to Cork in the All-Ireland semi-final.
Daly led Dublin to a first Leinster title since 1961 with a 2-25 to 2-13 victory over Galway earlier in the summer.
And Dublin GAA have tonight confirmed the Clare man will continue for a sixth year with the metropolitans, having been appointed in November 2008.
