Cork hurling manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy has revealed that goalkeeper Donal Óg Cusack will not feature in the Rebels squad for the upcoming Allianz Hurling League.

Barry-Murphy is expected to rely on Kanturk’s Anthony Nash and Ballymartle man Darren McCarthy during the campaign, although the official panel has yet to be finalised.

Cusack, who missed all of last year’s All-Ireland campaign with an Achilles injury sustained in the league, has won three All-Ireland SHC titles with the county, five provincial titles and a National League.
