Sean Cullinane and Ken McGrath have been ratified as the new Waterford hurling selectors.
The duo were ratified at a meeting of the Waterford County Board on Monday night.
Selectors Nicky Cashin and Philip Ryan have resigned from their positions earlier this week
On Sunday, manger Michael Ryan expressed his delight at the Allianz Hurling League win over Galway following an eventful week for the squad.
Despite the distractions Waterford recorded an impressive 1-14 to 0-15 win over Galway on Sunday.
And Ryan is concentrating on who is involved with the team, rather than be distracted by those opting out.
He said following the win in Pearse Stadium: “Of course there has been a bit of controversy and a few people writing headlines, but we’re not bothered about headlines.
“I’ve always said is all that really matters is the people in our dressing room.
"The 40 or so players and backroom staff, that’s all that really matters. We felt we got our act together with a hard training session on Tuesday night."
”We had a meeting Monday night first of all, then we had a hard training session on Tuesday night and we had a good team meeting last night (Saturday) and the focus was good and I felt there was a bit performance in this team and that’s what it had to give because Galway are a decent side.
“I’m delightred with the way it worked out, but more than anything else, forget about the management, I’m delighted for the players.”
