Dublin hurling has been boosted by the news that Anthony Daly will continue is his role as manager of the county's senior hurlers.

Daly, an All-Ireland Championship winner with Clare, has helped to oversee a revolution in Dublin hurling.

The Dubs recorded an historic victory over Kilkenny in the league final this season and reached the All-Ireland semi-final where they lost to Tipperary.

"There are a couple of little things to be cleared up with the backroom staff. I'm waiting for those things to be confirmed," Daly told the Irish Times.

"Hopefully all will be in place over the next two or three weeks and we’ll drive on from there. There are couple of is to be dotted and ts to be crossed but we’re committed to giving it a rattle again."
