Reigning All-Ireland Handball senior singles champion, Cavan's Paul Brady, is back in the final again after beating Robbie McCarthy to claim his place in the decider for a ninth consecutive season.

Another dynamic display of incredible power play and inch-perfect offensive shooting from the front saw Brady break clear with the scores standing at 7-8 in the opening game. From there he seized the initiative and burst clear to win the opener 21-10 and a 21-8 win in the second was enough to claim his place in another decider.

In the final. Brady will meet Armagh's Charly Shanks for the second year in succession in the senior final. The Clann Eireann clubman had a terrific battle with 2002 senior champion, Dublin's Eoin Kennedy, winning the first game 21-16.

In the second it was Kennedy who had a comanding early lead as he pushed 12-6 in front but Shank's employed some terrific low power serving coupled with impressive retrieving to eat into the deficit and move into a 19-15 advantage.

An absorbing climax to the tie ensued with the players finally deadlocked at 20-20 and having 2 serves each for the game winning ace. It was Shanks who delivered and won that game 21-20 to set up another date with Brady.

The duo will now meet in the 2011 GAA Handball All-Ireland Senior Championship final on Sunday 17 April in Abbeylara, with full preview and information to follow.

That finals programme will also include the Minor Singles final between Cork's Killian Carroll and Kildare's Niall O'Connor.
