GAA Director General Paraic Duffy has strenuously denied reports that they are mediating the Limerick hurling row.
Despite already stating they would not get involved, Duffy was forced once again to confirm the GAA will only step-in if Limerick officials request them to.
'I can utterly and categorically refute that. The situation is as it has been all along.
'We will not become involved with Limerick unless we are asked by the County Board and we haven't been approached.'
