Cork hurling manager Denis Walsh has confirmed the addition of former Munster rugby fitness coach Mark McManus and former Rebels minor physical trainer Donal Burke to his backroom team for the 2010 season.
McManus joins the Rebels set-up as strength and conditioning coach having worked with Erin's Own and various Cork underage development squads in recent years.
Burke, a team-mate of Walsh's in the Imokilly side that reached the county football final 22 years ago, will be the team's physical trainer.
Speaking in the Evening Echo, Walsh enthused: 'I believe they'll be major additions to the backroom team. Mark will be starting out by putting in place individual strength and conditioning programmes from 1 November.'
