Tom Ryan has withdrawn as a candidate for the position of Limerick senior hurling manager and his threat of a High Court injunction to halt the process of choosing the new man has also been lifted.
Ryan had threatened action because he claimed that three of the seven man committee appointed to choose the next manager were members of clubs who had nominated other candidates.
Six candidates remain in contention and over the next two days, the seven man committee will begin to interview the candidates still in contention.
Ciaran Carey, Brian Ryan and Pat Fleury have also withdrawn and those remaining are Tony Considine, Justin McCarthy, Richie Bennis, Pat Herbert, Gerry Molyneaux and Eddie Murphy.
