The search for a new Limerick hurling manager suffered a setback last night as a result of a solicitor's letter issued to the Limerick County Board from one of the people seeking the post.
It is believed Tom Ryan has difficulty with the make up of the selection committee.
Limerick County Board are making no comment at this time but are expected to do so in due course.
Richie Bennis' term as Limerick hurling manager ended following a meeting of the county board last month.
He guided Limerick to an All-Ireland final appearance last season, but this season ended in disappointment when his side were knocked out of the Championship by Offaly.
