Ten names have been proposed for the vacant position of Limerick senior hurling manager after a meeting of the County Board on Tuesday evening.
Richie Bennis, who parted company with the county after this year’s tame elimination from the Championship, has been nominated for the post by his club, Patrickswell.
Former Waterford boss Justin McCarthy has been nominated by Camogue Rovers, while ex-Clare supremo Tony Considine was the choice of Garyspillane.
Former county star and Under-21 manager Ciaran Carey was put forward by Hospital-Herbertstown, while Tom Ryan was nominated for a second spell in charge by Ballybrown.
Jerry Molyneaux, Brian Ryan, Pat Herbert, Eddie Murphy and Pat Fleury complete the list of ten.
