FINGAL 3-15 LONGFORD 3-07, Parnell Park
Fingal advanced to the knock-out stages of the Nicky Rackard Cup with a hard-earned 3-15 to 3-07 win over Longford at Parnell Park.
Emmet McCabe was the scorer-in-chief for the north Dublin outfit, who led by 1-12 to 1-04 at the interval, with substitute Gareth Ghee scoring the Longford goal.
Longford continued to mount a comeback in the second half, with Neil Casey and Declan Tanner both netting goals.
However it was Fingal's day, and a second half goal from McCabe confirmed the win.
CAVAN 0-16 WARWICKSHIRE 0-12, Kingspan Breffni Park
Cavan bounced back after their disappointing defeat to Sligo in the Nicky Rackard Cup last weekend, recording a narrow four-point win over Warwickshire at Kingspan Breffni Park.
This was an extremely close contest, with Cavan only in front by two points at the interval, leading 0-07 to 0-05.
The hosts were made dig deep in the second half, but impressive displays for Michael Wall's charges from the likes of Andrew Nelligan and Kevin Downes ensured the home victory.
LEITRIM 2-13 FERMANAGH 1-11, Carrick-on-Shannon
A brace of first half goals ensured Leitrim recorded their first win of their Nicky Rackard Cup campaign, beating Fermanagh at Carrick-on-Shannon.
Playing against the wind, Leitrim led by 2-06 to 1-08 at the interval, after Liam Byrnes had scored his side's second goal, with Jason McManus hitting the net for Fermanagh.
The Ulstermen upped their game on the restart with good displays from the likes of Ryan Bogue, but Leitrim continued to stay in front, with Clem Cunniffe giving a very good performance for the hosts.
TYRONE 3-08 MONAGHAN 3-13, Healy Park
A hat-trick of goals from Michael Greaney ensured Monaghan got their Nicky Rackard Cup campaign off to a winning start in Omagh.
The Farney men had to dig deep as solid displays from the likes of David Lavery and Lee Moore ensured the hosts held a 2-05 to 1-06 interval lead.
Wing-back Gordon Coleman and midfielder Brian Phelan were solid for Monaghan in the second half.
Their displays along with Greaney's accuracy and good scoring also from Bernard O'Brien and Stephen Lambe, helped the visitors come from behind.
