Mark Flaherty continued his high-scoring exploits in NHL Division 1B as he shot ten points in Clare's draw with Tipperary at Cusack Park.
The Killanena clubman was deadly accurate from frees as Clare recovered from leaking a 24th-minute goal to Tipp full-forward Tommy Fitzgerald.
Tipp hit ten wides but still led 1-06 to 0-08 at half-time, with Flaherty scoring four times for the Banner men.
However, the visitors were reeled in when Clare grabbed the game’s final four points through Flaherty (3) and Fergal Lynch.
Table-toppers Tipperary maintained their unbeaten run in the league but Clare hit back at them for a deserved share of the spoils which has them fourth in the table.
Tipp took the lead after only 30 seconds when midfielder James Woodlock bounded forward before lashing the sliotar between the uprights.
Still smarting from last weekend's loss to Limerick, Clare's response was a good one with Flaherty (free), Fergal Lynch and Dave Barrett all finding the target.
Playing into a stiff breeze, the hosts worked scores for Colin Lynch and Jonathan Clancy, but Tipp were quick to reply through Woodlock, Shane McGrath and Eoin Kelly.
The Premier county's goal arrived when Fitzgerald was in the right place at the right time, after a short goal-mouth scramble, to bat a low shot past Clare goalkeeper Philip Brennan.
Clare could also have had a goal at that stage but full-forward Fergal Lynch was blocked by Conor O'Brien as he was about to pull the trigger.
As the first half came to a close, Flaherty nudged his side onto 0-08 with two frees from the 20-metre line, while Tipp had the final say with Kelly and Dara Egan both raising late white flags.
On the resumption, Kelly put two points between the sides at 1-07 to 0-08. Tipp kept ahead, although Declan O'Rourke and Flaherty knocked over swift points to keep Clare in the hunt.
With Kelly taking his personal haul to 0-06, Tipp opened up what looked a telling four-point advantage with only six minutes to go.
However, Clare dramatically squared up the game in injury-time when three Flaherty frees were followed by a Fergal Lynch point from an acute angle.
Clare's battling qualities certainly came to the fore as they snaffled a draw, but the result owed much to a late save from Banner stopper Brennan, who did excellently to catch a McGrath point attempt as it drifted towards the posts.
