A lively second half display saw Cork take the two NHL Division 1A points on offer at Casement Park this afternoon.
Having led 0-09 to 1-05 at half-time, the Rebels brought on Ben O'Connor and the former captain really galvanised the visitors' attack.
Just before the interval, Liam Watson netted from a 20-metre free to get Antrim back in contention, but the Saffrons' scores dried up in the second period.
Watson was also sent-off, three minutes after Cork newcomer Brian Corry's 66th-minute goal.
Trying to rediscover the form which saw them lift the Walsh Cup earlier in the season, Antrim perhaps tried too hard in the opening stages of this game - hitting five early wides.
They remained scoreless until midfielder Simon McCrory smacked over a 14th-minute point. By that stage, a largely experimental Cork side already had 0-03 on the scoreboard.
Pa Cronin was successful with a fifth-minute free, full-forward Kevin Canty pointed from play in the tenth-minute and Kevin Hartnett also raised a white flag.
After McCrory's effort, Brendan Quinn doubled the home side's tally before Cork notched four points in the space of six minutes as the Antrim defence struggled to keep their discipline.
All four scores came from placed balls - Cronin and John Gardiner hit two apiece to beef up Cork's lead.
But despite late scores from Canty and Kenny, who brilliantly fielded a puck-out and scored seconds later, Cork allowed Antrim to gain a foothold just before the interval.
Karl McKeegan and Watson knocked over points before wing forward Karl Stewart was fouled in the 34th-minute by Gardiner and Watson stepped up to net the 20-metre free.
But, wind-assisted in the second half, Cork quickly put to bed any hopes Antrim had of a shock win.
Amazingly, Gerald McCarthy's side outscored the hosts by 1-15 to 0-02 during the second 35 minutes.
Paddy McGill and substitute Paul Shields were Antrim's only scorers of the half as Cork went on the rampage. Sandwiched in between those points from McGill and Shields was seven points in-a-row from the men from Munster.
Canty, Ben O'Connor, Cronin and Timmy McCarthy all boosted their personal tallies and the icing on the cake came, four minutes from time, when Corry found the Antrim net on the rebound after an initial shot had hit the woodwork.
Cathal Naughton, on as a substitute, also chipped in with two late points, one of which came after an electric run from the Newtownshandrum clubman.
Antrim's bad day was completed when Watson was dismissed for his second yellow card.
The Saffrons' joint-managers Dominic McKinley and Terence 'Sambo' McNaughton will have to work some magic on their panel as they face a trip next weekend to All-Ireland champions Kilkenny, who have scored 0-48 in their last two games.
