The GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee have rejected Kilkenny's request to have their National Hurling League game with Cork refixed for this weekend.
The game was originally due to take place earlier this month, but the player's strike in Cork meant that game was cancelled.
The row has since been resolved, but the CCCC's decision to reject Kilkenny's request means that Cork will not have a competitive game until 8 March when they take on Dublin in Parnell Park.
