Several Senior County hurling finals were decided across the country earlier today.

Oulart the Ballagh were victorious in the Wexford final, beating Buffers Alley 4-14 to 2-06, with Dessie Mythen scoring two first-half goals for the Ballaght.

In Tipperary, Loughmore-Castleiney were too strong for Drom-Inch, winning 0-22 to 0-13 thanks to a nine-point haul from man of the match Evan Sweeney.

In Offaly, former county star Brian Whelehan was the star for Birr, hitting ten points in their 0-15 to 0-10 victory over Kilcormac-Killoughey.

It was Birr’s third county championship in succession.

In Clare, Tulla beat Crusheen 1-07 to 0-09, while in Galway, Portumna overcame Kinvara 6-12 to 0-11, and in Kildare, Confey beat Coill Dubh 3-08 to 0-10.

In Longford, Wolfe Tones Mostrim beat Longford Slashers 2-18 to 1-18 after extra time.

Elsewhere, Dunloy from Antrim beat Down’s Ballycran 1-19 to 1-13 in the Ulster club semi-final.
