The Central Appeals Committee have cleared Dublin hurler Peadar Carton of an eight week suspension, but the case does not appear to be closed just yet.
The O'Tooles man had his appeal against his ban upheld by the Central Appeals Committee on technical grounds.
It now appeals that he will be able to line out for Dublin in Sunday's Under-21 All Ireland Hurling final with Galway.
However, the GAA are believed to be unhappy with the outcome of the appeal and will make a statement tomorrow.
