Limerick hurling manager Richie Bennis will serve a one match sideline ban for Sunday's All-Ireland hurling quarter-final against Clare in Croke Park.
He received the ban for entering the playing area during the county's third game against Tipperary at the time that Mark Foley was down injured.
Bennis told the Irish Examiner, 'I am very disappointed. I played hurling for Limerick for 12 years and during that time I was never sent off.
'Croke Park gave me a three minute hearing and that was that. I think we deserve better than that.
'I was looking forward to walking on to the new Croke Park but I must forget about it now,' he added.
