Clare will meet their Munster rivals Limerick in the All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals after securing top spot in qualifier Group 1A this afternoon.
Laois went 0-03 to 0-01 ahead at O'Moore Park but the Banner men bounced back for a 0-07 to 0-04 interval advantage.
After Laois talisman James Young had netted from a 21-metre free, goals from Barry Nugent (37 minutes) and Colin Lynch (52) steadied Clare who held firm for their third qualifier win. Nugent top-scored with a 1-04 tally.
