Cork had an easy time of it at Páirc Uí Chaoimh as they secured their second win in the SHC qualifiers.
Last year's All-Ireland runners-up overcame Offaly at a canter with Joe Deane (0-08), Neil Ronan (1-05) and Ben O'Connor (0-07) dominating the scoring.
Ronan scored a goal in the eighth minute to help Cork on their way to a 1-11 to 0-06 half-time lead.
Offaly sprung Derek Molloy and Joe Bergin from the bench but they could do little to boost the Faithful for whom Damien Murray (0-08) top-scored.
Offaly's chances of causing an upset were not helped by a misleading wind. John McIntyre's men began with the elements in their favour but the wind quickly died down and Cork's slick play saw them turn this into a disappointingly one-sided encounter.
Ronan's goal, which came after opening points from Deane and the goalscorer himself, helped the Rebels move up through the gears and Deane looked to have chalked up the home side's second goal just moments later, only for referee Eamonn Morris to rule the effort out for an earlier foul.
Cork were 1-07 to 0-03 ahead midway through with Deane contributing five points - four from frees - and Offaly's only replies coming from Murray (0-02) and midfielder Brendan Murphy.
Cathal Parlon and Brian Carroll were both substituted as McIntyre rejigged his side but Cork continued to score with metronomic regularity - they grabbed four of the final seven points of the half to lead by eight by the half-time whistle.
The fact that Cork boss Gerald McCarthy could afford to replace four of his leading forwards during the second half just emphasised the gulf in class.
The O'Connor twins, Ben and Jerry, were substituted before the hour mark while Deane and the industrious Pa Cronin were also called ashore in the closing ten minutes.
Two Murray frees did cut the gap initially for Offaly but with their goal chances limited, the visitors struggled to make any impression in open play and Diarmuid O'Sullivan had the Cork defence in a ruthless mood.
Watched by 15,231 spectators, Cork were 11 points clear after 50 minutes and the remainder of the match took on a target practice feel as McCarthy's men clinically shut the door to the quarter-finals on Offaly.
