Kilkenny hurling manager Brian Cody will be without the services of forward Aidan Fogarty for Sunday's Leinster SHC final with Wexford in Croke Park.

Fogarty picked in an ankle injury during the Cats' semi-final victory against Offaly and will miss the final as a result.

Midfielder Derek Lyng (groin) and forward Richie Power (hamstring) are also doubts for the showdown, but will be given every chance to prove their fitness.

Kilkenny skipper Jackie Tyrrell believes the fixture congestion between club and Championship games is taking its toll on players.
