Clare and Cork players must wait until Monday for news on the proposed sanctions

The GAA has confirmed that last night's meeting of the Central Hearing's Committee was adjourned and will reconvene on Monday night.

The committee met with Cork and Clare representatives last night in relation to the scuffles before their Munster SHC clash on 27 May.

They will meet again on Monday to allow the committee to hear all of the evidence in relation to proposed sanctions arising out the pre-match altercations at Semple Stadium.

The Competitions Control Committee has recommended fines for the both county boards, and suspensions for four players from each team.

If the suspensions are upheld, the players and officials can take their case to the Central Appeals Commitee.

The bad tempered scenes were the result of both sides being allowed to run out simultaneously.
