Cork's Brian Corcoran has called time on his inter-county hurling career.

Corcoran will see out the 2006 campaign with his club Erins Own but will not be available to new Cork manager Gerald McCarthy next season.

Corcoran won All-Ireland senior medals in 1999, 2004 and 2005 and announced his decision at the launch of his book 'Every Single Ball' at Croke Park today.
