Early goals from Ruairí Convery and Seán McBride, added to by Kevin Hinphey in the second-half, helped Derry to a 3-10 to 0-10 Nicky Rackard Cup quarter-final victory over Armagh today.
The Oak Leafers, who led 2-08 to 0-05 at the break, got the better of their Crossmaglen hosts.
Armagh were hindered by a first-half injury to top scorer Declan Coulter. The Armagh Harps man had hit 6-25 in three previous games.
Convery led the Derry scoring with 1-04 while McBride fired over 1-03.
Gerard Enright grabbed 0-03 for Armagh.
