Antrim easily dispense with Kildare

Antrim's hurlers had little difficulty in qualifying through to their first ever Christy Ring Cup final, with a 2-21 to 0-06 win over Kildare at Cusack Park.

The Saffrons' aim of regaining their Liam McCarthy Cup status is still on the cards – they face Carlow in the August 6 decider.

This Mullingar tie was as good as over at the interval as the Ulster men led by 2-14 to 0-01. Paddy Richmond and Brian McFall both found the Kildare net.

The second half saw the Lilywhites rediscover some of the form that helped them post four wins during the regulation phase with Billy White finding his free-taking range.
