Brian Whelehan has been left out of the Offaly starting XV for what could prove to be his final ever appearance for the Faithful County's hurlers.
Whelehan has been dropped to the bench along with Brian Carroll, Barry Teehan and goalkeeper Brian Mullins.
Shane O'Connor takes over the net-minding duties while Joe Brady comes in to add some bulk to the forward line. Michael Cordial and Mick O'Hara have also returned to the side having been omitted from the starting side against Limerick.
